Access Statement

We warmly welcome multi-generational groups at Hall Farmhouse, and have taken several steps to make it more accessible for less mobile/elderly guests. We hope the bedroom modifications that we have made together with equipment that we have made available at the house will ensure that it continues to be as accessible as possible for all our guests.

If you have any suggestions, we are always very happy to hear them and implement them if at all possible.

Hall Farmhouse is a very pretty traditional 6 bedroom farmhouse with level access at the front from the graveled parking area.

The rear of the property gives way to an ultra-modern 120sqm open plan kitchen/diner with 9M disappearing glass wall that gives level access to the patio and outdoors.

In 2021 we added a ground floor double bedroom specifically for our less mobile guests. Access to this bedroom does have one step down from the kitchen. This bedroom is not currently ensuite, (though we hope it will be by late 2023), however, there is a downstairs shower room with WC and wash basin. Here we have available, a removable and adjustable shower stool, grab rails (both fixed and adjustable), a toilet frame (again removable and adjustable).

From the traditional front, which houses the sitting rooms and dining room, to the modern rear of the property (kitchen/diner) there is one step down internally. There is an anti-slip portable half-step available which guests can move around the property to help less mobile guests navigate this step if necessary.

To access the first floor bedrooms guests must climb one set of standard stairs.

Two of the first floor bedrooms are ensuite.

There are plug in night lights available at the property.

The large patio area at the rear of the property has two large wide steps down to the pool and garden area.
