Beaches within an hour

Norfolk has 45 miles of unspoilt coastal scenery

The Norfolk coastline offers 45 miles of unspoilt scenery that features some of the best beaches the country has to offer, and we’re lucky to be based within an hour of some of them! They’re not on our doorstep, but they’re well worth packing the car and heading to for the day, in fact we promise you won’t regret it! Here are some of our favourite stretches of sand that we love to send our guests to.
Heading to the beach:

Heacham Beach

Also just 45 minutes away; Heacham Beach sits on the west coast of Norfolk. It’s rugged and often spacious, making it a perfect spot to bring the dog, or embark on long walks yourself through the shallows. If you don’t fancy getting sandy, then stroll along the beach’s promenade instead, and make use of the facilities that include public toilets, cafes, gift shops, and the nearby village of Heacham itself.

The famous red and white striped cliffs at Hunstanton and their adjoining beach will certainly catch your eye.
